Our stay at Dreams Hotel in Lanzarote was fantastic. The staff were incredibly friendly and attentive, and our room was spacious, clean, and well-maintained throughout our stay. The facilities, especially the pools and the variety of restaurants, were excellent, offering a great balance of relaxation and entertainment. The hotel was also very family-friendly, which made traveling with our baby stress-free. We had a wonderful time and would definitely return for another stay.

There are many reviews on Dreams which indicate that it is not a 5 star hotel, this is the case, however I do not think that it is trying to be a 5 star. What dreams is good at ,what it does , and that is look after holiday makers with a very high standard of cleanliness and service of a reasonably high standard. This is noticeable because of the recognised many faces of return visitors that you see each year. This year was no exception and it's so nice to see people back there year after year, they are clearly doing something right. Mentions must go to Miranda and Daniela in guest services, Marta on reception, Eric gives is usual great smile and job of welcoming people like they are long lost relatives, and Ali at the pool bar. It is correct that you may get 1 or 2 individuals who do not service well, like the 2 lifeguards at the pool smoking around guests regularly ( sorted by Ali ) but overall the service is superb. The food again isn't world class but you can usually find something that satisfy's the soul and the breakfasts in the preferred club are superb. The entertainment is excellent and despite being on only for a short while you are there to relax and relax you do. The bar service again is good and Lourdes and the team look after you well on drinks. There were some debates about pool sunbeds but disgruntled people were usually because the hotel enforced their sunbed rule, in one case a customer threw their toys out of the pram because they hadn't returned for over 2 hours and had their possessions removed to reception..well done dreams. Overall this return was one of numerous visits, the hotel is excellent and we are already considering returning next year, however that will depend on whether Jet2 reduce the seriously inflated price for next year.

“Not a 5 star holistic holiday. ”

The suite we upgraded to was expensive. We upgraded because we spend a lot of time on the balcony and wanted sunbeds on it. The suite was beautiful. Magnificent views. Beautiful bed linen, restocked mini bar every day and excellent house keeping. However the food was awful. Cold food in the buffet… more

The suite we upgraded to was expensive. We upgraded because we spend a lot of time on the balcony and wanted sunbeds on it. The suite was beautiful. Magnificent views. Beautiful bed linen, restocked mini bar every day and excellent house keeping. However the food was awful. Cold food in the buffet and the speciality restaurants were far from special. Portofino was the best option. Sabour was totally without atmosphere and the food so bad we complained about it in the restaurant and at reception. To no avail. Waiter drinks service at Rendezvous was patchy to non existent. The booking in system in the restaurants was painfully slow, with a laborious manual and tablet recording method, creating long queues. This must be simplified, just doesn't make sense. In our experience not a 5 star hotel.
