We spent a week in the Timanfaya Palace which was wonderful. The hotel is lovely the rooms are really nice, I requested a ground floor room with a walk-in shower and that is exactly what we got. There were 3 in our party one of whom has disabilities the hotel caters very well for people with disabilities. The staff are great and friendly, very attentive and make sure you have everything you want and need. The service is brilliant and with a smile. The food was really good and there was always something to our taste, we didn't need to eat out at all. Great breakfasts, all kinds of eggs and real bacon and sausages too. The pools were nice, a bit chilly but in high season that wouldn't be a problem. There is an indoor heated pool too. The entertainment on the Monday and Tuesday night was outstanding...absolutely brilliant! The other nights were not so much to our taste but ok. The cocktails are amazing and they do some cocktails too. There are some news channels in English on the tv but if you want anything else then I would recommend downloading some programs and films onto a laptop or similar which is what I did before travelling to watch late at night before going to sleep. The hotel is about a 3 minute walk to a lovely sandy beach and the start of restaurants and shops along the coastal path which takes you all the way into the town and to the Marinas. I recommend going to the market which is twice a week if not for the stalls there are also some lovely boutiques and restaurants at the Marina. On the whole I would recommend the Timanfaya Palace and Playa Blanca as a resort. We have been twice now to Playa Blanca and thoroughly enjoyed both holidays. I would definitely go to this hotel again if I return to Playa Blanca. Highly recommend it.

We have been returning to this fabulous hotel for 10 yrs We visit 2an 3 times a Yr It's the management an staff the reason for returning Beautiful hotel near beach an lovely walks You are greeted at reception with friendly staff Rooms are large we always have sea view it's well worth the extra There is always a great choice of food They also do themed nights I can highly recommend this hotel We have made friends with returning guests an always try an meet up at least on 1 of stays

We visited early May 2024, the hotel definitely delivers on all counts. From checking in, room, food, pool areas, service and entertainment. As it was our 35th wedding anniversary during our stay we found a congratulations note and cava on ice in our room on arrival with a free upgrade to a pool/sea view. This set the scene for the rest of the week. Lots of staff who are very attentive, never had to wait for a drink. Evening entertainment was good quality every night with tribute acts. We have stayed in around 8 different Lanzarote hotels and this definitely is now top, as the saying goes you do get what you pay for!
