“Wonderful hotel”

We are on day 5 of a two week holiday, and are loving everything about this hotel I can see why people return here. We are privilege and have a wonderful room 273 which overlooks the pool and has a sea view. Think not leaving towels out until 9.30 is a brilliant idea, it doesn’t stop you sitting out before that time if you wish but you can’t leave them unattended and to be honest there are plenty of beds around. Loved the heated indoor pool and the outside ones are a bit chilly 😂. I also like the fact that they stick to the rule of men wearing long trousers at dinner which makes it special. All the staff are lovely and work hard to make sure the guests are looked after. Our room is spotless (thank you to the cleaning staff). We had a bottle of fizz and some chocolates in our room on arrival which was a lovely touch. The privilege lounge is lovely, you can help yourself to drinks and snacks. We have been very happy with the standard of food served in all the restaurants and the service is very good. We love ending the day sitting on our terrace listening to the sea ( chairs not the most comfortable but that’s minor). The bed is huge and soooo comfortable, the bathroom has a lovely walk in shower (which I requested before hand) and was very happy that they accommodated my request. I can’t comment on the day activities but there seemed to be plenty going on. So far we have enjoyed the entertainment in the evenings and the quality of the drink are the best we have ever had on all inclusive. We are looking forward to enjoying the rest of our holiday and am already planning when we can come back here😁

“Don't hesitate, book it!!!”

We have recently returned from a two week holiday at the Timanfaya Palace. This hotel and staff are exceptional. The hotel itself is situated very close to amenities and within walking distance. The rooms are spacious and clean. The food is very good and varied. The staff are incredible. Polite, helpful and always cheerful. The indoor pool is a real bonus and sunloungers are plentiful. I have no hesitation in recommending this hotel. We will definitely return.

Another fantastic holiday at this magical hotel! The staff are truly amazing and work there socks off to make sure you have a wonderful time, very helpful and friendly. We had the perfect room for us us, me being a wheelchair user. Feel totally independent around this hotel, regarding ramps, lifts ect. We will be back in October and we just can't wait! Alas, the weather didn't cooperate - cool, windy & some rain, which made the experience less pleasant. Plus, they are thoroughly remodeling some rooms, which made things noisy and dusty at times, although it may not be a problem in future months. Also, unless one is able to get around a lot, say, with an excursion or car, it's not a welcoming environment for people who have trouble walking any distance. Other parts of the island may be more lively, but Playa Blanca was kind of 'dull' to my eyes, sorry. The resort is quite nice, more European-styled than ones in the Caribbean, which is my usual haunt - no shorts for dinner, for instance. Meals were mostly buffet-style, except for lunches at a poolside restaurant, if desired, and an included table-service meal for those staying a week or more. AND most alcoholic beverages were included in the cost. Alas, it's a bit older, maybe getting 'tired' [hence the renovations], and some rooms are QUITE far from the central core. Lots of steps. The main pool was lovely, but the water is very cold, especially in the mornings. There is also a sort of adult wading pool, which is warmer. It IS an adults only resort.
