“Fabulous hotel.....what more can I say! ”

This is our 2nd stay at the H10 Timanfaya, and it won't be our last. Excellent food, friendly staff, clean grounds, clean rooms, recent renovations undertaken. Piano bar entertainment was very good. Cannot comment on the other entertainment as we didn't watch any, but that was because we preferred to ambiance of the piano bar in the evenings. Breakfast was very good, lots of choice. Bacon was very nice, omlettes and crepes fantastic! Lunch was less busy and still had some varied choices. Dinner was varied and we enjoyed it. Beef Wellington was my favourite. Good range of food for many tastes. If I had one complaint it was that on occasion the vegetables weren't very hot when served. If you mention to maitre D it gets sorted ASAP. Special mention to Pepe and Mohammed. The puddings are very good and I love the ice cream station! The rooms were very clean every day and fresh towels when needed. The hotel prides itself on being eco-friendly, which is a good thing. Mini golf was fun. Pool areas were clean and there was always sun beds available. The pool bar located by the heated pool is a lovely addition and special thanks to Paula. Location is good, short walk to playa blanca town and flamingo beach is 5 mins away. You can access Montana Roja walks from close by hotel for nice views across this part of the island. Promenade walk to the lighthouse as well. Taxi isn't too expensive to the Marina if you don't fancy the walk... but it isn't too far. This is a quieter hotel, and just how we like it. The entertainment isn't in your face and the staff are lovely. This isnt the hotel if you like the party atmosphere but it has a lovely ambience all the same and we have left chilled and relaxed both times we have stayed. Thank you. We will be back!

Just returned from our 4th stay at the Timanfaya Palace. It has almost become a home from home for us now, from the welcoming glass of cava on arrival through to the spotlessly clean and comfortable rooms, the food choices and quality at the buffet restaurant and the Kasbah, top shelf branded spirits and the fact there are so many places to relax in the well kept grounds. The staff generally can’t do enough for you to make sure your holiday is enjoyable. We were always greeted with a friendly smile and a ‘hola’ from every staff member we saw, whether that was the bar and restaurant staff, housekeeping, reception team and that also includes Jose the hotel Director! We especially love the fact that there is entertainment to suit varied tastes, whether in the relaxing Piano Bar or the Disco Bar. We will be back at the earliest opportunity for sure!

Only give this a 3 star review as it flattered to decive, pics, and video of the hotel makes it look a looooooot better than is needs a massive update and for the likes of me TUI have it as one there platinum hotels, decor in rooms well dateted bed matteress like a rock old school sprung type, granted they are updating the rooms right now but we seen one updated and to be fair its only bathroom and instead tiles down now putting wood flooring down was not impressed. Food, only here a week but not a massive choice in the one main restaurant themed nights they have, weren't great, to be honest, one blessing is staff are all great and pool bar was really good get top of the range spirts if A.I I'm a whiskey drinker glad to see could get glenmorangie,glenfiddich among others all in the A.I package. Rooms we upgrade to a sea view which cost us but to be fair thier is only about 30 rooms that don't have a sea view so I'd take your chances. Entertainment, some good acts on, show are on after evening meal if get down earlier enough starts 9 ish shows that is No water is provided in rooms only first night arrive after that got yo buy from local shop just down from hotel or get a refillable one and they refill it behind any of the bars.

Alas, the weather didn't cooperate - cool, windy & some rain, which made the experience less pleasant. Plus, they are thoroughly remodeling some rooms, which made things noisy and dusty at times, although it may not be a problem in future months. Also, unless one is able to get around a lot, say, with an excursion or car, it's not a welcoming environment for people who have trouble walking any distance. Other parts of the island may be more lively, but Playa Blanca was kind of 'dull' to my eyes, sorry. The resort is quite nice, more European-styled than ones in the Caribbean, which is my usual haunt - no shorts for dinner, for instance. Meals were mostly buffet-style, except for lunches at a poolside restaurant, if desired, and an included table-service meal for those staying a week or more. AND most alcoholic beverages were included in the cost. Alas, it's a bit older, maybe getting 'tired' [hence the renovations], and some rooms are QUITE far from the central core. Lots of steps. The main pool was lovely, but the water is very cold, especially in the mornings. There is also a sort of adult wading pool, which is warmer. It IS an adults only resort.
