Honest, extremely helpful people!Ileft my AirPods on the bed when I left and didn’t realize until we were in Northern Spain.They found them and sent them to my home!Happy with our decision.The staff were attentive and helpful.We enjoyed the pool and deck bar.

Me and my husband stayed in barcelona universal for a week at the end of august, this 4 star hotel was glorious, tge room was spacious and comfortable with a huge bed shower and bath and a veiw of the main street, also air conditioned throuout the hotel. We slept beautufuly with no nose disturbances. The hotel staff are freindly and helpful, we disnt have the food as we like to sample local quisine. There is a gym available sa well as a rooftop swimming pool and bar on the roof. The veiw from the rooftop solarium is amazing. Lovely cocktails available at 15 euros each, and metro and bus links available just outside ( i would get ur head round these an day 1 as there is alot of walking involved in barcelona. If u wear a cross body bag and be aware of ur surroundimgs you will be fine. The d20 bus takes you to the beach. We sidnt visit the wolf tavern in the hotel but there is a free coffee machine ij reception and a convenience store next door to the hotel and a macdonalds across the road. We will definatley be visiting this hotel again. There are also welcoming packages available for your room on arrival for a small fee. Thankyou hotel barcelona for a wonderdul stay.

I visited Barcelona for a conference and decided to stay at Universal as I found the area around Fira a bit quiet in the evenings. The neighborhood felt secure for nighttime walks, with plenty of charming restaurants and street food stalls nearby. Accessing the airport was convenient - just hop on L3, change at university, take L9 southbound, and you're good to go. Now let's break down my experience at the hotel: The room temperature control was tricky; it seemed either too cold or too warm despite adjusting the AC. The shower head was unusually small, resembling one you'd find in a hair salon - refer to the picture. While this design may conserve water, it resulted in longer shower times. Room cleanliness met expectations. Some fixtures in the room showed signs of wear due to aging. Outdated LCD television present. Comfortable bed provided a pleasant night's sleep. Room 401 offered ample space. Noticed a cracked sink - view image attached. Surprisingly, this issue seemed longstanding. A quick replacement would be more fitting for a 4-star establishment. Now onto breakfast: It was inconsistent. Despite claims of made-to-order breakfast on their website, this service wasn't mentioned during my four-night stay. The menu options were satisfactory; however, they must address the subpar coffee machine. The cappuccino quality was disappointing even after attempting to enhance it with an extra espresso shot - still lacked flavor due to sweet powdered milk used by most hotels nowadays instead of freshly brewed coffee by skilled baristas found less commonly now.

A mixed bag, the rooms are clean, pleasant and nicely decorated however do not book a so called "inner courtyard view" these are rooms where the window opens onto an air vent with no view. A mixed bag, the rooms are clean, pleasant and nicely decorated however do not book a so called "inner courtyard view" these are rooms where the window opens onto an air vent with no view. The breakfast is excellent with a wide selection of fresh pastries, fruits and hot food. The staff are friendly, professional and helpful. The hotel offers a rooftop bar but this should be avoided, it is dirty, shabby and in need of refurbishment. The first floor bar is simply the breakfast room with a small bar - not worth visiting. The location is great for visiting the main sites and several good restaurants are a short taxi ride away.
