“Great!”

Perfect location, with underground garage. Room was in need of refurbishment but spacious and with all comforts. Breakfast deserves 5 stars, various and high quality products. Nice attention to children by the staff. We definitely recommend it!

Due to the Pont-Aven being weather delayed we were forced to book into this hotel where, allegedly, only sea-view rooms were available. I was a bit taken aback by the car park lift but the parking bays down on -2 were quite generous in size. Check in went smoothly and our room was available on our arrival just after midday. Room 611 was quite well equipped with a pleasant sea/view. Room 611: There was some wall paper flaking off the walls and the door stopped had fallen off the wall onto the floor. Bathroom toiletries were old style tubes and a bar of soap either no dispensers. There was no kettle or coffee machine in the room. We enjoyed lunch after we checked in and my Mexican Salmon Salad was excellent, as was my wife’s salad. Check out in the morning was effortless.

My wife and I spent 3 nights here in a superior room with a view of the cathedral. Upon arrival I discovered that they offer several types of superior rooms. Ours was the same as a double room but had a walk-in closet/changing room and a jacuzzi in the bathroom. I was disappointed with the room as I was expecting a room similar to a junior suite with a double sink bathroom. Why were my expectations so high, you ask? Because that’s what is pictured in the 13 superior room photos on their website. I had failed to read the fine print that there were different types of superior rooms. Had I known what I was getting I would have booked a double room and saved the money. Who pays extra $ for a jacuzzi that won’t be used? The walk-in closet/changing room was nice but I would not have knowingly paid extra for it. (See photo.) Mixed results with the breakfast buffet that was included in our room rate. Cold items were reasonably good but the small number of hot foods were below average. The hotel has at least one restaurant and a cafeteria on the ground floor. We ate at the cafeteria one night because it was about the only place that served food @ 6:30 pm. They serve small sandwiches and hamburgers. They also have a full bar. We had hamburgers that were served with fries. They were good although a little sloppy. Prices were reasonable. One reviewer found the employees to be rude and unfriendly. We didn’t encounter any rudeness but the employees generally weren’t very friendly. The housekeeping lady on our floor and the blonde woman who worked breakfast were the only friendly people we saw. Parking is €16/day and should be reserved in advance. Spaces are pretty tight. The parking elevator was a pleasant surprise. It was much easier to operate than I had expected and was very straightforward. When driving to the hotel follow GPS and ignore the first sign that has you taking a right. It’s a very misleading sign. It points right and says to take a right on the next street. Not sure if I would stay here again. If you choose to stay here I would not roll the dice on a superior room. Get a double and save the money.
